Le Klint 172 pendant

by Le Klint

Design: Poul Christiansen, 1971. The iconic Model 172 was designed in 1971 by Poul Christiansen, with new sizes added up until 2009, making it possible to find a suitable size for a kitchen or dining table, a conference room, or a hotel lobby. Christiansen was the first to fold Le Klint's shades along mathematical sine curves rather than straight pleats, giving the lampshade its distinctive sculptural, wave-like form — the piece that became his best-known creation, the Sinus Line. Shade in hand-folded, colour-stable PVC foil (washable, antistatic), with brass fittings. E27 fitting, bulb not included.
