BABILA TWIST 2795 ARMCHAIR

Design: Odo Fioravanti, 2022. Babila Twist extends Pedrali's iconic Babila collection, with a profile marked by an alternation of straight and curved lines — the designer's take on the tension between the human body and industrial artifice. A large, welcoming shell is hand-woven in Italy with a flat rope in weather-resistant polypropylene, wrapping around the armrests and casting a play of light and shadow on the backrest. Woven body and tubular steel frame with slats for the seat are screwed together, making the piece easy to disassemble and recycle. Cushion in dry-feel, quick-drying polyurethane foam, upholstered in outdoor fabric. Frame in tubular steel; shell woven in polypropylene rope; seat cushion in foam and fabric.
