Design: CMP Design, 2020. The Folk collection accentuates the quest for simplicity — its friendly character, the warmth of ash wood, and compact, human lines convey a chair speaking a universal language. A light, durable die-cast aluminium ring becomes the structural and distinguishing element, letting the piece be easily disassembled for recycling or to replace components. The solid ash frame snugly embraces this ring, which holds a seat woven from natural cane with nylon thread for lightness and durability, while the bent plywood backrest ensures comfort. Frame in solid ash; seat ring in die-cast aluminium; seat in natural cane; backrest in bent plywood.
