PALLET DAYBED

Design: Sebastian Herkner, 2016. This was one of pulpo's first significant pieces of furniture. Herkner wanted something spontaneous, artistic and crafted — a simple yet refined daybed, light as a feather. It's a nod to Mediterranean sleeping culture, ideal for a nap, brainstorming, reading or simply stretching out. Pallet is composed of a high-grade oak frame and a soft mattress, held in place with a cuff in the same fabric or leather. Frame in oak; mattress and cuff in leather or velvet.
