HIPPO DINING CHAIR

Design: Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl, 2021. Inspired by the forms of the '70s but designed for a modern lifestyle, the Hippo series takes its name from the hippopotamus and its barrel-shaped torso. The chair's rounded, upholstered back invites a free, relaxed seating position, while the sturdy wooden legs — an almost architectural element in stark contrast to the soft shapes — connect seat and back. Legs available in four oak finishes; wide range of upholstery, including COM/COL. Seat in plywood and cut foam; backrest in solid oak and cut foam; legs in solid oak, water-based clear lacquer; upholstery in fabric, leather or sheepskin.
