Magma plays with natural contrasts — glass on stone, light and dark, matte versus glossy, right angles versus curves. An oblong, hand-blown glass globe shines softly onto an angular ceramic base, its lava glaze bubbling and streaking with its own unique character. As with all handmade glass and ceramic pieces, irregularities in thickness, colour variations, small bubbles or bumps are part of the process, not a flaw. Shade in hand-blown coloured glass; base in ceramic. LED included.
