ODA TABLE & FLOOR LAMP

Design: Sebastian Herkner, 2014. Directly inspired by the industrial monuments photographed by the famous Becher School, Sebastian Herkner bundled up the outer shape of water towers to create Oda. The glowing result is a source of cosiness that has since become a reference point in contemporary lighting design. As with all handmade glass pieces, small bubbles, streaks and colour variations are part of the process, not a flaw. Shade in hand-blown coloured glass; base in powder-coated steel.
