PALLA ROUND ABOUT 70'S ARMCHAIR & POUF
Design: Claudio Salocchi, 1969–2025. Palla is a manifesto of 1960s creative energy — first unveiled at the Salone del Mobile in 1969, its radical concept still challenges the conventions of traditional furniture. Starting from the volume of a sphere, Salocchi deconstructed the form into a perfect balance of function and aesthetics: seat and footstool interlock in a dynamic dialogue, generous in volume and comfort. This special "Round About Seventies" edition reinterprets Palla through Brionne, a reissued 1970s fabric by Torri Lana, whose bold pop palette and chromatic contrasts intensify the armchair's visual impact. Structure in wood with differentiated-density polyurethane foam padding, on a base in matt graphite-grey coated steel or polished chrome; pouf on a matt black MDF base. Non-removable upholstery in fabric.
