PALLA ARMCHAIR & POUF
Design: Claudio Salocchi, 1969–2025. At the forefront of both design and approach to seating, Palla is a manifesto of the creative energy of the 1960s — an era marked by the pursuit of new forms of freedom, including in design. First presented at the ninth Salone del Mobile in Milan in 1969, Palla stands out for its radical concept, challenging conventional furniture design. Starting from the volume of a sphere, Salocchi deconstructed the form into a perfect balance of function and aesthetics: seat and footstool interlock in a dynamic dialogue, generous in volume and comfort. More than fifty years after its debut, Palla now joins the Acerbis Remasters collection, offered in its original dimensions and available in both a fixed and a swivel version with a return mechanism. Structure in wood with differentiated-density polyurethane foam padding, on a base in matt graphite-grey coated steel or polished chrome; pouf on a matt black MDF base. Non-removable upholstery in fabric.
