PARIOLI SIDEBOARD
Design: Lodovico Acerbis, 1971–2026. Designed in 1971, Parioli introduced an advanced idea of storage furniture as a modular system — a project that later won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. Its defining feature is a satin stainless-steel structure that frames the storage units, set slightly back from them to create a refined play of depth. Today Parioli is reissued faithful to the original design, in its vertical sideboard configuration. Storage units come in dark-stained walnut or black-stained ash, paired with matching doors or doors clad in satin stainless steel, and can be configured with either hinged doors or drawers, with optional internal lighting. Structure in multilayer wood clad in satin stainless steel; containers in multilayer wood veneered in ash or walnut; drawer bottoms lined in dark grey saddle leather; optional 6 mm extra-clear glass shelf.
