ALTEREGO SIDEBOARD

Design: Giacomo Moor, 2018. Alterego Low is dedicated to storage as well as home entertainment, designed to house multimedia systems: its central compartment is fitted with glass shelves and cable openings. A backlit drawer compartment can be equipped with an opalescent methacrylate bottle-holder accessory. As with the vertical Alterego, the result is a rigorous, linear volume with generous proportions. It's made visually light by a transparent methacrylate base and back-lighting. Together they create an unusually beautiful suspended effect: the full-height front panel appears, at first glance, to be the only fixed support. Available in two lengths. Cabinet and hinged doors in dark-stained walnut veneer or matt/glossy lacquer; sliding door in glossy lacquer or a hand-brushed metallic nickel finish; base in transparent methacrylate.
