OUTLINE BOOKCASE

Design: Giacomo Moor, 2016. With Outline, Giacomo Moor has created an elegantly functional, freestanding system of wooden cabinets and shelves contrasted with an iron support structure that can be placed against a wall or in the centre of a space. Unusual round attachment recesses in the shelves and cabinets break the linearity of the design, letting components slide in and out of place when rearranging. The visual contrast between the wooden volumes and the lightness of the metal structure unites a contemporary look with the feel of a handmade cabinet. Available in three widths, each with its own configuration; cabinets have hinged or flap doors, and the back is fully finished for centre-of-room placement. Cabinets and shelves in dark-stained walnut veneer; structure in satin, black-nickel-painted steel; glass shelves included.
