NC SIDEBOARD

Design: Lodovico Acerbis, 1999. Part of Lodovico Acerbis's quintessential line of seemingly suspended furniture, bathed in light thanks to a clever back-lighting system. In the NC Sideboard, light diffuses through a strip of matt methacrylate set into the rear, interior and base, creating an optical effect of weightlessness — heightened by the semi-transparency of the cabinet's matt methacrylate base. Flap doors, top and sides in matt or glossy lacquer, or dark-stained walnut/black eucalyptus veneer; interior in white microembossed finish; base in matt methacrylate.
