GRAND BUFFET SIDEBOARD

Design: Massimo Castagna, 2014. Acerbis reinterprets a classic Italian piece with elegance and practicality, adding LED lighting and easier access to the back of the compartments. Grand Buffet is a tall sideboard, unusual for its horizontal division into two compartments of different heights (30 and 45 cm), closed by two asymmetric flap doors with finely tapered edges. The upper compartment uses an evolution of Acerbis's patented Dual-Flap opening system: one touch tilts the front panel down while part of the top lifts up, revealing the interior — backlit by an automatic LED system — and doubling as a convenient serving surface. Top and doors in matt or glossy lacquer; transparent glass shelves; base in epoxy-painted steel, micaceous grey finish.
